There are plenty of website designers willing to design your website for a tidy sum. Your site may look beautiful but there is no point in having an expensive graphically designed site that gets lost in cyberspace because it cannot be found. It is important to know how websites work, how they can best work for you and most importantly, how they can be found by prospective clients. Principally there are three things to consider when engaging a webmaster to construct your website - the person or persons should be skilled in: search engine optimisation; design and web-marketing. All three elements are important. The website should look good, it should download easily, the search engines should find it and, of course, potential clients should find it and then spend time on it and, hopefully, contact you.
